Free Functional Skills Maths Level 1 in Ashford. Classes run at TCHC Ashford GAPS Centre. You'll have an initial assessment to make sure this is the right level for you. The course covers using numbers, measures, shape and space, and handling data. You'll sit both a calculator and a non-calculator exam. The course runs for 55 hours. Note: you must be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to be eligible.

Young people aged 16-18 (and 16-24 with an EHCP) who would like to gain a qualification in Functional Skills Maths.

How you will learn
You'll study in a classroom at TCHC Ashford GAPS Centre. Assessment is by two exams: one where you can use a calculator and one where you cannot. Both are set by NCFE. You'll also have access to careers guidance, mentoring, and employment support throughout your time on the course.
