Free Functional Skills English Level 1 in Ipswich. Classes run at One Sixth Form College. This course is for 16 to 19 year olds in full-time study who need extra support before reaching Level 2. It builds the reading, writing, and communication skills you need to progress to a Level 2 functional skills english qualification, which is the recognised GCSE english equivalent. The course runs over three years as part of full-time daytime study.

Entry requirements
It is a legal requirement for students in full time study with us and not met grade 3 or above at High School will be required to sit Functional Skills L2, however L1 is offered to those students who require more support to achieve a L2 Functional Skills grade of a pass.
