Free Entry Level Functional Skills Maths Course in Isles of Scilly. Classes run at Learn Scilly. A tutor will assess your level at the start to make sure this is the right starting point for you. Over 10 weeks, you'll build your maths skills through daytime classes, covering the number, measure, and data skills that come up in everyday life and work. This entry level functional skills maths qualification is a recognised step toward Level 1 and, eventually, a GCSE maths alternative at Level 2.
Who this course is for
Functional Skills level 1 in Maths. We are providers of recreational, vocational and £e' learning on the Isles of Scilly. The department has strong links with colleges and other learning providers on the Mainland. How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom sessions at Learn Scilly, with tutor support throughout. Assessment is carried out by your tutor, who will check your progress as you go. The Pearson Edexcel qualification is assessed through a set task or test that confirms you've met the standard for Entry Level 1.
