A basic course on supporting children's challenging behaviours that focuses on understanding the root causes of such behaviours and some of the effective intervention strategies. It covers behaviour management techniques, communication skills, and positive reinforcement methods. The course teaches how to create structured environments, setting clear expectations, and implement consistent and age and time appropriate consequences if required.
Entry requirements
Kirklees resident, aged 19+, resident in the UK for 3+years; or if you are an asylum seeker or refugee you must have been in the UK for 6 months and are yet to have a decision on your status, qualifications below level two or have significant barriers to learning.
