What you will learn

You'll learn to follow spoken instructions and respond appropriately.
You'll practise speaking clearly so others can understand you.
You'll build vocabulary for common situations such as work, shopping, and community life.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based speaking and listening activities, including group discussions, pair work, and guided practice with your tutor. Assessment is through observed spoken tasks: you'll be assessed on your ability to listen and respond, and to speak clearly in structured situations. Your tutor will observe and record your performance as part of the English Speaking Board assessment process.
