Free Entry Level ESOL Skills for Life (Speaking and Listening) Course in Hackney. Classes run at New City College Hackney Campus, part-time during the day. The course runs over 19 weeks and focuses on spoken English. You'll practise listening and speaking in everyday situations, building the skills you need to communicate clearly in English. The entry level ESOL skills for life (speaking and listening) classes are taught in the classroom, giving you the chance to speak and listen with other learners and your tutor. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm Entry 2 is the right level for you.

You'll learn through classroom activities, group discussions, and pair work. Assessment is through speaking and listening tasks observed by your tutor. You'll be assessed on your ability to take part in conversations and respond to what you hear. There is no written exam for this qualification.
