Entry Level 3 Working Life Course in Weymouth. Classes run full-time during the day at Weymouth College. The course is free if you are 16 to 18 years old. Entry requirements

No formal entry requirements, but you should be able to show that you can work at Entry Level 2. You must have a desire to work outdoors in a variety of practical land-based subjects. We will also need full details of special educational needs and any other reports from relevant bodies or establishments to ensure that we are able to put in place the correct level of support for each individual learner.

How you will learn

You will learn through classroom sessions, practical hands-on activities, and in-house and external work experience. Units cover animal care, gardening, practical countryside skills, outdoor activities, tractor driving, Functional Skills, and personal development. Assessment is through coursework and practical tasks completed during the course. Tutorial support is provided throughout.
