What you will learn
You'll listen to and understand spoken English in everyday situations.
You'll follow instructions, explanations, and narratives given by other speakers.
You'll speak clearly to make yourself understood in familiar contexts.
You'll take part in discussions and conversations, responding appropriately.
You'll ask and answer questions on familiar topics.
You'll use language suited to different situations and audiences.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based activities including group discussions, pair work, and listening tasks. Assessment is through spoken tasks and observed interactions that demonstrate your speaking and listening skills. There is no written exam for this Award. Your tutor will assess you on your ability to communicate and respond in English across a range of everyday situations.
