Free Entry Level 3 Car Mechanic Course in Bishop Auckland. Classes run at Bishop Auckland College, full-time during the day.

You'll spend most of your time in the college's fully equipped workshop, working on modern cars. Who this course is for

The Diploma in General Vehicle Maintenance E3 is ideal if you�ve thought about what the Motor Trade might be like and want to know what a Mechanic has to do at work.

It will give you the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles using tools and machinery that you would see in a garage.

The course will also develop your entrepreneurial skills as well as a focus on customer services.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you will need a can do attitude and determination to work hard getting to know how all the different parts of a car work.

How you will learn

You'll be assessed through a combination of practical tasks in the workshop and written or online activities in the classroom.

You'll need safety boots and overalls. Bishop Auckland College can order these for you if needed. Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
