Free Entry Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening in Scarborough. Evening classes run at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. This entry level ESOL skills for life speaking and listening course develops your spoken English and your ability to understand others in everyday situations and at work. You'll also build knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. The course runs for 22 weeks part-time. You'll need to be 19 or over to be eligible for funding.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact
What you will learn

You'll learn English grammar to help you communicate more accurately.

How you will learn
Classes are classroom based and run in the evening. You'll take part in speaking and listening activities with your teacher and other learners. Assessment is through observed speaking and listening tasks. Your teacher will assess how well you communicate in English during these activities. There is no written exam for this Award.
