About this course

Free Entry Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening in Catterick Garrison. Evening classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, so you can study around your existing commitments. This is an english for speakers of other languages course focused on spoken English. To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact

How you will learn

Classes are delivered in a classroom at Catterick Library & Information Centre. You'll take part in speaking and listening activities with your teacher and other learners. Assessment for the City and Guilds Award is through observed speaking and listening tasks. There is no written exam for this qualification. Your teacher will assess your spoken English during the course.
