You'll follow the meaning of simple sentences and short paragraphs.
You'll recognise common words and phrases in written English.
You'll use context to work out the meaning of unfamiliar words.
You'll read texts related to everyday situations, such as shopping, health, and community life.
How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Brooklands Technical College - Weybridge Campus, working through reading tasks and activities with a teacher. Assessment is through set tasks and exercises that test your reading skills at Entry Level 1. There are no written exams. Your progress is assessed through the work you complete during the course.
