What you will learn

  • You'll listen and respond to basic spoken English.
  • You'll follow simple instructions and questions.
  • You'll use common words and phrases to express needs and ideas.
  • You'll take part in short discussions on familiar topics.
  • You'll develop pronunciation to make yourself understood.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom activities, including speaking and listening tasks with your teacher and other learners. Assessment is practical. You'll be assessed on your ability to speak and listen in English, through observed tasks and short activities carried out in class. There is no written exam for this qualification.
