What you will learn
You'll listen and respond to simple spoken English in everyday situations.
You'll speak clearly enough to be understood in basic conversations.
You'll follow short instructions and simple questions.
You'll take part in short exchanges on familiar topics such as home, work, and daily routines.
You'll show you understand what someone is saying and respond appropriately.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom activities at Helston Adult Education Centre, including listening exercises, speaking practice, and guided conversation. Assessment is through a spoken assessment set by City and Guilds. You'll be assessed on your ability to listen and respond, and to speak clearly in simple everyday situations. There is no written exam for this qualification.
