Free Entry Level 1 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening in Scarborough. To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact

Classes are classroom based and run in the evening. You'll learn through speaking and listening activities with your teacher and other learners. Assessment is practical: you'll be assessed on your ability to speak and listen in English, through tasks and activities that reflect real everyday situations. Your teacher will observe and assess your performance during the course.
