Level 1 ESOL Skills for Life: Reading Course in Havering. Classes run at New City College Ardleigh Green Campus, part-time during the day. The course runs over 15 weeks. You'll develop your English reading skills, working through texts and tasks designed to bring you to Level 1. This is an esol skills for life: reading qualification for adults aged 19 or over who want to strengthen their reading in English. How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at New City College Ardleigh Green Campus, with a tutor guiding sessions. Assessment is through reading tasks and exercises that test your understanding of written texts. You'll be assessed on your ability to read and respond to a range of materials at Level 1. There is no written exam in the traditional sense; tasks are practical and based on real reading activities.
