Free Early Years Educator Level 3 Course in Selby. Classes run at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service on a part-time daytime basis, making it manageable alongside other commitments. This is the level 3 early years educator qualification recognised in statutory staffing ratios for nursery and early years settings. You'll study child development, safeguarding, and learning through play. The course takes 24 months part-time. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the right starting point and plan your learning.

How you will learn
Learning takes place in the classroom at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service, with tutor-led sessions covering theory and practice. Assessment includes written assignments, observations of your practice in an early years setting, and a portfolio of evidence. You will need access to a suitable early years placement to complete the work-based elements of this qualification. The centre will advise you on placement requirements at enrolment.
