Free Computer Course Entry Level 1 in Cramlington. Classes run at Hillcrest School, full-time during the day. This is an entry level computer course covering foundational IT skills. The course runs for 60 hours. You'll work toward a recognised entry level computer qualification from WJEC. WJEC offers this qualification at four levels, from Entry 1 through to Level 1, so there is a clear route to progress as your skills grow.

You'll use a computer to carry out basic tasks
You'll handle files and folders on a device
You'll use everyday software applications
You'll practise safe and responsible use of technology
You'll develop skills to communicate using digital tools
How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Hillcrest School with full-time daytime sessions. Assessment is through practical tasks and activities that show what you can do on a computer. Your work is collected as evidence and assessed against the WJEC Entry Pathways criteria for IT Users.
