You will be assessed on all aspects of gas safety relating to the installation, commissioning and servicing of domestic gas appliances (CKR1).
The course offers comprehensive training and updating of knowledge and practical skills identified in the current awarding body and gas safe register approved codes of practice. The training also provides the operative with the necessary preparation and revision for the CKR1 assessment.
This course is also delivered at the Crawley Campus.
To be eligible for this course candidates must already hold the CCN1 qualification and wish to extend their scope of work i.e. have CKR1 but need CENWAT1 or wish to renew their expiring qualification.
If your certification has expired by more than 12 months of the assessment date, it will be necessary to undertake the initial assessment.
The re-assessment can be taken up to 6 months prior to the expiry date of the initial qualification without losing out (MOT style).
