Free BTEC Level 3 Travel and Tourism Course in Swindon. Classes run full-time at Great Western Academy, five days a week during the day. This Pearson Edexcel level 3 btec travel and tourism qualification is equivalent to one A Level and typically takes 22 months to complete. Who this course is for

This qualification is equivalent to one A-Level. This qualification includes three mandatory units covering the following content areas:

  • Principles of marketing in travel and tourism

Students then select one of two optional modules:

  • Visitor Attractions - investigate the nature and role of both built and natural visitor attractions, their commercial success, appeal, response to diverse visitor needs and the importance of delivering a memorable

visitor experience.

  • Events, Conferences and Exhibitions - develop knowledge and skills in resource and financial planning as they gain an insight into a wide range of events, conferences and exhibitions that are relevant to the travel and

tourism industry.
