About this course

BTEC Level 3 Sport Course in Middlesbrough. Classes run at Middlesbrough College, part-time during the day. It's free if you're 16 to 18 years old on 31 August before your course starts. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply.

You will learn about the structure and function of the bodys systems in response to sport and exercise. You will cover anatomy and physiology, fitness training and programming, professional development and sport psychology. You would also benefit from being involved in sport outside of the classroom as this will support your application of the knowledge.

Entry requirements

At least five GCSEs at Grade 4/5 or above, including English language and mathematics. As well as the entry requirements above you will also need to meet the specific requirements for the A Level courses you choose.
