Free BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Course in Totnes. Classes run full-time at King Edward VI Community College. This is a two-year daytime course covering acting, dance, musical theatre, and physical theatre. It runs over 18 months and carries the same weight as 1.5 A levels. You'll need four or five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and a performing arts related subject, or a relevant Level 2 qualification. Previous performance experience is required, and you'll attend an audition as part of the application. Equivalent in size to 1.5 A levels, it can be a stepping stone to jobs, apprenticeships or higher education performing arts courses. You'll need confidence to perform in front of an audience, be a good team worker and have the motivation to work independently.
Entry requirements
4-5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above including English and a performing arts related subject or a relevant level 2 qualification. You will need to have some previous performance experience and be expected to attend an audition.
