About this course

Free BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Course in Torquay. Classes run at St Cuthbert Mayne School, full-time during the day.

This Level 3 BTEC performing arts qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level. Over 18 months, you'll study performance skills, production, and the creative and technical elements of performing arts. Units cover acting, dance, and the development of your own practice as a performer. The course is designed to sit alongside other A Level or vocational qualifications as part of a broader sixth-form programme. You'll need five or more GCSEs at grades 4 to 9, or equivalent, to be considered.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Extended Certificate in Performing Arts.

Who this course is for

The Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Performing Arts is intended as an Applied General qualification. The qualification is equivalent in size to one A Level and is designed to occupy one-third of a typical study programme, which could include other vocational or academic qualifications, such as further BTEC Nationals or A Levels.
