Free BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts Course in Lincoln. Classes run at Branston Community Academy, full-time during the day. This two-year course covers performance, production, and the creative skills that underpin work in the performing arts industry. You'll study through a mix of practical projects and written work, building a portfolio of evidence alongside your performances. Entry requires 17 GCSEs at grade 4 or above.

What you will learn
You'll develop performance skills across acting, dance, or musical theatre.
You'll study the history and context of performing arts.
You'll plan and produce creative projects from concept to performance.
You'll analyse and evaluate your own work and the work of others.
You'll develop skills in rehearsal, direction, and stagecraft.
You'll build a portfolio of practical and written work.
How you will learn
Learning is classroom based and practical, with studio sessions, rehearsals, and performances at the centre. Assessment is through a combination of internally assessed units, marked by your teachers, and externally assessed tasks set by Pearson Edexcel. You'll produce written assignments, practical performances, and a portfolio of evidence over the two years.
