Free BTEC Level 3 Performance Course in Tonbridge. Classes run at Hillview School for Girls, full-time over two years. The course combines Music, Dance and Drama, with lessons across all three disciplines. You'll build the skills needed to develop as a Musical Theatre performer. To join the Sixth Form, you'll need at least a grade 4 in English Language and Maths, plus three other GCSEs at grade 4 or above. You'll also need to show significant experience in at least two of Acting, Dancing, or Singing.

The course is a fusion of Music, Dance and Drama and students will attend lessons in all three disciplines. They will learn the skills to develop and progress as a Musical Theatre performer.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements: Grade 4 in English Language and Maths together with 3 other GCSE grades at grade 4 or above is the minimum requirement to enter Hillview Sixth Form.

SUBJECT SPECIFIC ENTRANCE CRITERIA:

Any student meeting the Sixth Form entrance criteria is eligible for this course. However, applicants must be able to demonstrate significant experience in 2 from Acting/Dancing/Singing - this could include GCSE Drama/Dance or Music at Grade 5+ or equivalents.

Assessment is ongoing throughout the two years rather than through a single final exam.
