About this course

Free BTEC Level 3 IT Course in Liverpool. Classes run at Maghull High School, full-time over two years.

You'll study units covering networking, systems, application development, and website design. The course also explores how technology supports business and creative projects. You'll need at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including GCSE English. If you studied ICT or computing at GCSE, you'll also need a grade 4 or above in that subject.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Extended Certificate in Information Technology.

Entry requirements

A minimum of five GCSE’s at level 4 or equivalent, (one of these must be GCSE English) from five separate subjects with an average points score of 4.0 or more. Also a level 4 or above in ICT or computing at GCSE if you studied the subject at GCSE level.
