How you will learn
The BTEC National Extended Diploma is assessed through a combination of coursework assignments and externally assessed units set by Pearson Edexcel. You'll complete assignments throughout the year in the classroom, responding to briefs that reflect real industry scenarios. Some units are assessed by timed written tasks under controlled conditions. There are no traditional end-of-year exams for every unit, but externally set assessments must be completed at set points in the academic year.
