Free BTEC Level 3 Esports Course in Great Yarmouth. Classes run full-time at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, five days a week during the day. The course takes 12 months to complete. You'll study the esports industry from the ground up, covering competitive gaming, event management, broadcasting, and the business side of a fast-growing global sector. Entry requires at least a grade 4 in GCSE English Language and a grade 3 in GCSE Maths. The course combines substantial written and theoretical work with practical assignments.

Esports is defined as organised competitive gaming ,
which is human versus human, either as individuals or in teams. The
esports industry is a fast-growing global industry. In February 2019,
Newzoo published its 2019 Global Esports Market Report. This stated
that, in 2018, the global esports market was valued at 655 million
U.S. dollars. This rose to nearly 865 million U.S. dollars in 2019 and is
projected to reach 1.79 billion U.S dollars in 2022.
Entry requirements
Learners must have achieved at least a grade 4 in English Language (essential) and a grade 3 in Maths at Level 2. Learners must be aware that there is a large theoretical and written component to the course that compliments practical assignments.
