Entry requirements

No previous experience of Business is needed but you must make sure you understand what the course entails - it is different from AS courses. You must have the standard College entry requirements for AS level with a GCSE Grade C in English and a GCSE Grade D in Maths.

The BTEC National Certificate is assessed through a combination of coursework assignments and, for some units, external examinations set by Pearson Edexcel. Assignments are based on realistic business scenarios, so you apply what you learn to practical tasks rather than relying solely on exams.
