Free BTEC Level 3 Applied Science Course in Kingsbridge. Classes run at Kingsbridge Academy, full-time during the day. This level 3 BTEC applied science qualification takes two years to complete. You build your knowledge through practical, unit-based work rather than end-of-course exams. Each unit asks you to gather evidence from real tasks and studies, so you can see your progress as you go. The course covers core science disciplines and develops the skills employers and universities look for.
Who this course is for
BTECs offer practical experience that is often lacking in more traditional routes. Students have to undertake a number of Units for which they present evidence, based on real-life work and studies. This allows them to demonstrate their skill and knowledge in practical situations. Students are more engaged and motivated as a result, as they can see their own progress through the course rather than waiting to the end to sit an exam.
