Free BTEC Level 2 Creative Media Course in Leicester. Classes run at Gateway Sixth Form College, full-time during the day. This level 2 BTEC creative media qualification takes 12 months to complete. You'll develop practical skills in film and print production, working with industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and InDesign. You'll work in teams on video shoots and create assessed media products such as short films, radio dramas, TV adverts and posters.
Who this course is for
This course gives you an introduction to the techniques you need for successful film and print production work in the Media. You will develop technical skills and knowledge using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and In-Design and develop your team working abilities as you work together on video shoots. You will use your skills to create assessed media products, such as radio dramas, short films, TV adverts, DVD covers, posters and short factual films. The structure of the qualification allows time for skills development to be carried out through completion of large-scale projects. The course is assessed by coursework, which may be exhibited at the end of year show.
