About this course

Free BTEC Level 2 Creative Digital Media Production Course in Great Yarmouth. Classes run at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, full-time during the day.

To join, you'll need at least a grade 3 in GCSE English Language and grade 3 or above in four or more other subjects. Note that you cannot study this alongside Video Production or Web Production. The course runs over 12 months and covers key areas of creative digital media, including games design, digital graphics, and media production skills. You'll explore how creative interests can translate into real industry roles.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC First Award in Creative Digital Media Production.

Who this course is for

This course has been designed to encourage learners to aspire to a career in the creative industries. Young people who recreationally engage with video games are able to develop skills and knowledge that will enable them to see how their interest can be transposed into a viable career goal.

Entry requirements

A grade 3 in GCSE English Language is essential. Applicants should have achieved at least a grade 3 in four or more subjects at Level 2. Please note that you cannot study this subject alongside Video Production or Web Production.
