About this course

BTEC Level 1 Workskills Course in Abingdon. Evening classes run at Abingdon & Witney College Abingdon Campus. If you're 19 or over, a tuition fee of £630 may apply. Fees may not apply if you're 16 to 18 years old. Entry requires GCSE grades 2 or below in English and maths, and attendance through Year 11. The course runs over one week, full-time in the evenings. You'll develop the independence and practical skills needed to move into a vocational programme.

Who this course is for

The Fast Forward programme provides an opportunity to rapidly catch up with your peers and progress to a vocational pathway. The programme is a one-year transitional course designed for young people who need support in developing independence in their learning.

Entry requirements

GCSE grades 2 or below in English and maths and attended school including Year 11.

What you will learn

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions in the evenings. The course uses practical tasks and activities to build your skills. Assessment is through portfolio work and coursework rather than exams. There is no exam fee. Your tutor will guide you through each activity and track your progress as you go.
