The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who live in a Staffordshire postcode (not Stoke-on-Trent). It is designed to develop transferable skills in responsible pet ownership and animal care. Learners will explore the vital roles animals play in our lives, including how they support people through work, assistance, and therapy, from guide dogs and therapy animals to animals used in community and wellbeing projects. Practical activities and discussions help learners understand animal behaviour, care requirements, and the positive impact animals have on individuals and communities. Please check the website for the next available course delivery date.
