About this course

Free Advanced GCE in Computer Science in Crawley. Classes run at Hazelwick School, full-time over two years. You'll need a grade 6 in GCSE Maths to join. If you took GCSE Computer Science, a grade 6 is also required. If you studied Cambridge Nationals in IT, a merit is required. You'll deepen your coding skills across multiple programming languages and build a fully functioning program from a set of briefs. This level 3 advanced GCE in computer science qualification is assessed by OCR.

Entry requirements

Grade 6 in Maths. (GCSE Computer Science is not essential but, if taken, then a grade 6 is required, if Cambridge Nationals in IT was taken then a merit is required) . Please note that you cannot opt for both Computer Science and IT.

The project is a substantial piece of work where you plan, build, and evaluate a working program from a set of briefs.
