About this course

Access to HE Diploma (Veterinary Science). Study online, at your own pace, with start dates available throughout the year.

If you are 23 or under and hold no prior Level 3 qualification, you may be entitled to a tuition fee waiver. Otherwise, fees apply, currently £5,197. You need Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills equivalent) to enrol. The course takes around one year to complete. You'll study biology, chemistry, and animal science topics that prepare you for veterinary-related degree programmes at university.

You'll finish with an Access to HE Diploma (Veterinary Science), a Level 3 qualification recognised by UK universities.

Entry requirements

To enrol on this Online Access Diploma, you must have already achieved Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills). Please note that it is not permitted to study English and Maths concurrently with the Online Access Diploma.
