Free Access to HE Nursing Course in Liverpool. Classes run at The City of Liverpool College Clarence Street, part-time during the day. This level 3 access to HE nursing qualification is designed for adults aged 19 or over who want to move into university study without traditional entry qualifications. You'll need GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths to enrol. Over one year, you'll build knowledge of the human body and mind, covering subjects that prepare you for nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, and allied health degrees. Who this course is for
The Access to Higher Education Allied Health Professions Diploma is a level three qualification which prepares you for university study if you don't have traditional qualifications. This is an evening and blended course designed for students looking to go onto a career in a health profession, such as adult nursing, childhood nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy and paramedics. By studying the course, you'll build an extensive knowledge of the human body and mind, through modules in human physiology and psychology. You will also develop your understanding of healthcare professions through the professional healthcare practice module. In addition to this you will develop your academic skills in a supportive environment, which will allow you to make the transition to degree level. You will have access to outstanding academic and pastoral support, detailed online materials and the full Microsoft 365 suite during your time with us. You'll be taught by a team of specialist teachers with extensive knowledge of their subject areas. We have considerable experience and expertise working with adult learners who have taken either a short or a long break from formal education.
