About this course

Access to HE Education Course. Study online, at your own pace, fitting learning around your work and home life. The course is free for some learners, and fees may apply for others. If you are 23 or under and hold no prior Level 3 qualification, you may be entitled to a tuition fee waiver. You'll need Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills equivalent) to enrol. The course takes one year and is recognised by UK universities as a route into degree-level study.

Entry requirements

To enrol on this Online Access Diploma, you must have already achieved Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills). Please note that it is not permitted to study English and Maths concurrently with the Online Access Diploma.

How you will learn

You study entirely online, working through self-directed materials at times that suit you. You'll be supported by a team of subject specialist assessors who guide your work and give feedback on assignments. Support staff are also available for additional advice. Assessment is by written assignments throughout the course. There are no exams. As you near the end of the course, you'll receive guidance on your university application.
