About this course

Free AAT Level 3 Accounting Course in Ealing. Classes run full-time during the day at Ealing Green College, over 29 weeks. You'll study complex accounting tasks including financial statements, management accounting, VAT, and ethical practices. You will need:

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above includingEnglish and maths (orFunctional Skills in English and maths at Level 2) Accounting - Level 2

You will also have an interview with our course teachers at enrolment to check that the course is right for you.

  • You'll apply advanced bookkeeping techniques to maintain accurate financial records.
  • You'll use management accounting costing techniques to support business decision-making.
  • You'll handle VAT issues and prepare returns for businesses.
  • You'll understand and apply accounting principles and concepts.
  • You'll produce final accounts using both manual and software-based methods.
  • You'll follow ethical practices relevant to the accounting profession.

How you will learn

You'll study in the classroom at Ealing Green College, with teaching covering each unit across the academic year. Assessment is by four computer-based assessments, taken at intervals throughout the year. There are no written exams at the end of the year. Your progress is measured as you complete each assessment.
