What you will learn
You'll apply double-entry bookkeeping principles to record financial transactions accurately.
You'll process sales and purchase ledger entries.
You'll prepare and reconcile bank statements.
You'll understand the basics of VAT and how it applies to business transactions.
You'll use accounting software to record and manage financial data.
You'll produce trial balances and identify errors in accounts.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Brooklands College. Assessment is through AAT's external assessments, which are computer-based and taken at an approved test centre. These are set and marked by AAT. You'll sit assessments for each unit once you and your tutor agree you're ready.
