About this course

Free AAT Level 1 Bookkeeping Course. Study online, part-time over 19 weeks. This free AAT bookkeeping course introduces the basic principles of bookkeeping and business. You'll cover recording financial information, maintaining simple accounts, and key business skills. Note that the first session is face to face, and you'll need to attend a Meet The Team session before you start. The remaining sessions move online. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the level is right for you. A solid free aat bookkeeping course for adults returning to work or moving into finance.

"This all day course introduces the basic principles of bookkeeping & business, including recording financial information and maintaining simple accounts, alongside key business skills to support your understanding of the workplace. Prior to the course, you will need to come in to Meet The Team - these sessions could last 3 hours. You will need to book a session by emailing [email protected] or calling 01375 372476. The first session will be face to face in a classroom - remaining sessions will be online. You are expected to attend all day 9.30am - 2pm."

How you will learn

Most of the course runs online, part-time during the day. The first session is face to face in a classroom. After that, remaining sessions are delivered online. You'll be assessed through AAT assessments that test your bookkeeping knowledge and practical skills. Before you start, you'll attend a Meet The Team session, which can last up to three hours. Book this by emailing or calling the centre directly.
