Entry Level 3 Creative Industries Course in Bournemouth. Evening classes run at Kings Park Leisure & Learning Centre, one night a week from September to March. This is a beginner's course. No previous drawing experience is needed. Over 22 weeks, you'll explore life drawing, studying the proportions of the human figure, perspective, and composition using a variety of media. It's a practical entry level creative industries course that lets you fit study around your week. Concessions are available, so fees may be lower for some learners.

Who this course is for

This is a beginner's course and you may have no experience in the subject or very basic knowledge in the subject.

What you will learn

  • You'll develop foundational drawing skills using the human figure as your subject.
  • You'll study the proportions of the body and how to represent them on paper.
  • You'll explore perspective and how it applies to the human form.
  • You'll practise composition, considering how the figure sits within a drawing.

How you will learn

Classes are held in a studio setting at Kings Park Leisure & Learning Centre on Monday evenings, 6pm to 8pm. You'll learn through practical drawing activities structured around the human figure. Assessment is based on the work you produce during the course. Your tutor will guide you through exercises that build your skills progressively across the 22 weeks.
