Entry Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening Course in Brent. Classes run at Brent Start Hillside Adult and Community Learning Centre, part-time during the day. The course runs for 11 weeks and covers the speaking and listening skills you use every day, at work and in daily life. You'll have an initial assessment before you start to make sure this is the right level for you. It's a practical entry level ESOL skills for life: speaking and listening qualification, suited to anyone building confidence in spoken English for work or everyday situations.

What you will learn
You'll develop your ability to speak clearly in everyday conversations.
You'll practise listening to and understanding spoken English in familiar situations.
You'll learn how to ask and answer questions in simple exchanges.
You'll build confidence expressing your needs, opinions, and information out loud.
You'll understand and respond to straightforward instructions and requests.
You'll practise taking part in short discussions on familiar topics.
How you will learn
Classes are classroom based and run during the day. You'll learn through speaking and listening activities, group work, and guided practice with a tutor. Assessment is through observed speaking and listening tasks that show what you can do. There are no written exams for this qualification. Your tutor will assess your spoken English as part of your normal class activities.
