About this course

CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting Course. Study online, at your own pace, over 12 months. No prior accounting experience is required. You'll cover four subject areas: business economics, management accounting, financial accounting, and ethics and business law. The course builds core finance and business skills and forms a formal entry route into the CIMA Professional Qualification. It also stands as a qualification in its own right. Note that CIMA membership and exam entry fees are not included in the course cost.

Who this course is for

The CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA) will help students with little or no accounting experience unleash their true business potential. Teaching core business and finance skills beyond simple financial accounting, Cert BA syllabus is the perfect stepping stone towards a career in business and finance.

The Cert BA is a qualification in it's own right and also forms a formal entry route into the CIMA Professional Qualification. Once students successfully complete both qualifications and qualify for membership, they will be awarded the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.

Entry requirements

None, but solid maths and English skills are preferable

What you will learn
