About this course

CIMA BA2 Business Accounting Practice Course in Leicester. Classes run at Kaplan Leicester, part-time over weekends, so you can study without taking time off work. The course may be funded through a Government Apprenticeship. If that route does not apply to you, fees may apply through a payment plan. Over 6 days of classroom sessions, you cover the core accounting principles tested in the CIMA BA2 Objective Test. You'll work through structured material with a tutor who guides you through each topic and answers your questions.

Who this course is for

Kaplan's CIMA BA4 course aims to support you in passing your exam and help you to gain the skills you need for a successful career in accountancy. You'll work through a structured study schedule targeted towards an Objective Test (OT). Your tutor will support and guide you through the course and answer any questions you may have.

Included in our courses are printed copies of our Official CIMA material along with soft copies which can be found on your personalised, online learning portal, MyKaplan (www.mykaplan.co.uk). Also on MyKaplan you will get a range of online resources such as: Subject Overview, Resource Guide, Study Programme, Tutor-led Units, Knowledge Check Tests,Mock Exams and Test Yourself facility.

The BA4 syllabus is split into 4 general areas:

Business ethics and ethical conflict (30%) Corporate governance, controls and corporate social responsibility (45%) General principles of the legal system, contract and employment law (15%) Company administration (10%)

Entry requirements

No entry requirements, although you will need a good understanding of Maths and English.

How you will learn

You'll attend classroom sessions at Kaplan Leicester over 6 days at weekends. A tutor leads each session, working through structured CIMA study material with you. You receive printed copies of official CIMA material and access to soft copies through an online learning portal. Assessment is by CIMA's Objective Test, a computer-based exam you sit when you're ready.
