About this course

CIMA BA2 Business Accounting Practice Course in Hammersmith and Fulham. Classes run at Kaplan Hammersmith, part-time over 6 days on a day or block release basis. The course may be funded through a Government Apprenticeship for eligible learners. Fees may apply for others. The level 4 CIMA BA2 Business Accounting Practice classes follow a structured study schedule aimed at the CIMA Objective Test exam. You'll work through core accounting principles with tutor support throughout. Official CIMA study materials are included.

Who this course is for

Kaplan's CIMA BA3 course aims to support you in passing your exam and help you to gain the skills you need for a successful career in accountancy. You'll work through a structured study schedule targeted towards an Objective Test (OT). Your tutor will support and guide you through the course and answer any questions you may have.

The BA3 syllabus is split into 4 general areas:

Accounting principles, concepts and regulations (10%) Recording accounting transactions (50%) Preparation of accounts for single entities (30%) Analysis of financial statements (10%)

Entry requirements

No entry requirements, although you will need a good understanding of Maths and English.

  • You'll understand budgeting processes and how to prepare and interpret budgets.
  • You'll apply financial accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping and financial statements.

  • You'll practise exam-style Objective Test questions to prepare for the CIMA BA2 assessment.

How you will learn

You'll study in a classroom at Kaplan Hammersmith, following a structured schedule guided by a tutor. Learning is targeted toward the CIMA BA2 Objective Test exam. Your tutor will answer questions and support you through the material. Printed and digital copies of official CIMA study materials are included, accessible through an online learning portal alongside your classroom sessions.
