BTEC Level 2 Animal Care Course in Bristol. Classes run at SGS College Filton Campus, full-time during the day. This level 2 btec animal care course runs for 432 hours and covers the knowledge and practical skills needed to work with animals in a range of settings. Fees apply, though students aged 16 to 18 years old pay a significantly reduced fee, and concessions may be available if you are 19 or over. You'll have an initial assessment to confirm the right level for you.
Who this course is for
Most full-time courses at SGS are for learners aged 16-18 with some provision available for those aged 14 plus on request. If you are aged 19 and over then formal qualifications that are a prerequisite for younger age groups may not be suitable. You will be assessed on your knowledge and your ability to apply skills in real animal care tasks.
