About this course

BEng Hons Manufacturing Engineering Top Up Degree in Nottingham. Classes run at Nottingham College Highfields Campus, part-time during the day over two years. To join, you'll need a full Level 5 qualification in a related subject, such as a Foundation Degree, HND, or Diploma of Higher Education worth at least 240 undergraduate credits. The BEng Hons Manufacturing Engineering Top Up Degree course builds on that Level 5 study, covering engineering management, research skills, operations management, and project work on a live brief. It leads to a full Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree, awarded by The Open University.

Who this course is for

This new Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) top-up programme is ideal if you have a full Level 5 qualification and wish to develop your award to a full Bachelor's degree.

It has been designed to prepare you for a career in an industry where there's a high demand for engineers with a sound knowledge of engineering applications, as well as people who understand the necessary techniques to develop, test and maintain them.

This course is subject to validation with a first intake planned for September 2025.
