This one year course will help you achieve the qualification you need to gain entry to a degree course at university, such as a BA in Social Work and Social Sciences.
Access to HE Diplomas are well established national qualifications which allow students without traditional Level 3 qualifications to apply for degree courses and enter university-level study.
The Social Work and Social Sciences route is for those who wish to progress on to degrees which will lead to careers in Social Work, Youth Work, Probation, Criminal Justice or Public Health.
Entry requirements
You will need English GCSE at grades 9-4 (A-C) for all courses and GCSE for some courses.
You may also need additional GCSEs if they’re required for entry to your chosen university course, so you’re advised to investigate potential university progression routes to establish the specific entry requirements they may require.
