About this course

Access to HE Nursing and Midwifery Course in Grays. Classes run at South Essex College of Further and Higher Education, full-time during the day. This level 3 access to HE nursing and midwifery qualification takes one year and is designed to prepare you for degree-level study in health professions such as adult nursing. A fee of £3,384 applies, and an Advanced Learner Loan may be available to help cover the cost. Units cover healthcare principles, human anatomy and physiology, sociology of health, mental health, and independent research. Universities recognise this as a university access course for entry to nursing and midwifery degrees.

Who this course is for

Entry requirements

Those wishing to progress to Midwifery at university will need GCSE Maths, English and Science at grade C minimum.
